HotMic allows companies to set up a proof of concept free of charge. Since HotMic is designed to be configured to your needs, it's best to chat with our team first. The typical steps are:

  1. HotMic provisions a white-label portal with your feature requirements
  2. You install a sample app
  3. Go live from your portal into your sample app to test features


Definitions

  • Organizations - This can be your entire companey or specific groups with access to specific tools.
  • Sub-Organizations (optional) - These are typically teams or sub-brands.
  • Organization administrators - These are typically producers or other administrators of themes.
  • Creators - These are typically those making the content on the streams.
  • Streams - These are what the creator makes, and consist of many possible elements. Creators can use:
    • Creator Audio/Video - Creators can themselves be present in a stream with audio or audio/video.
    • Shared Media - Hosts can share content from their computer or from a shared CMS with video, images, overlays, or even live sports content
    • Guest Audio/VideoChat - Users can request to join a host live via video or audio
    • Chat - complete with moderation, emoticons, replies, and reporting
    • Polls - Producer or host created polls
    • Contests - A real time leaderboard can be added for polls with correct answers
    • Ads - Banner ads can be added manually or via GoogleAd Server
    • Products (Live Shopping) - A product catalog can be pulled in from Shopify
    • Tips or donations - this can be enabled by creator, by stream, or for an entire org
  • Viewers - These are the people watching a stream. Viewers can interact with all the elemement above based on how the stream is set up.
