Tipping or In-App purchases

HotMic integrates with Stripe(web) and in-app purchases via IOS and Andoid add tipping or in app purchases to your app. The feaure flag for tipping can be enable by creator or by stream. By default, tipping is disabled.

In a stream, a viewer has the option to send a tip. If using the mobile app, the viewer can pay using in app purchases. On web, they can connect to a stripe based payment workflow. In app tipping converts considerably better due to the convenience of using Apple and Google in app payments. When a viewer tips, other viewers will see the tip along with any comment.





Hosts will see tips come in real time via the chat feed for shoutouts. Host will see tips totalled in their event screen and their dashboard.
